Japan Food Tours by Hiroko Obata
Only reading wouldn't make your stomach satisfied, that is why I offer those food tours. All of the tours are made carefully to explore different areas in Japan extensively in terms of food and drink.
(Basically we look around the place on foot in a small group)
I am waiting for your visit to Japan!
Currently three food tours are popular in Tokyo:
Sampling the traditional and casual snacks in Asakusa and making a visit to the Senso-ji Temple
Tracing the trends of food and drink chronologically from the Japanese style Western food to the super gorgeous food market
Making a tour of the long-standing stores, which have dealt in traditional Japanese food or drink since the Edo period (1603 -1867)
New tours are being developed for:
Misaki, Miura Peninsula, Kanagawa (三崎漁港) (big-eyed tuna)
Personalized Food Tours can be made.
I can arrange a special food tour for you for any aspects of food of your interest.
