The Eubios
Ethics Institute is a nonprofit group that aims to stimulate the international
discussion of ethical issues, and how we may use technology in ways consistent
with "good life" (eu-bios). It aims at an integrated and
cross-cultural approach to bioethics, and at building up an international
network.
In May 1995
this world wide web site was created to disseminate information, and since then
more documents have been put on open access from this web site in English and
Japanese. More files will be added. Please note - there are no pictures in
these files, only text and data - to save costs of downloading.
There have been a variety of networks on different topics in bioethics set up by members of the International Association of Bioethics (IAB). The membership of the genetics and bioethics network is open to those interested in research in the specific fields. One of these is a Genetics network, and a list of members of the Genetics Network is open for access. The news of the network is given in the EJAIB .
The provision
of the EJAIB, EEIN, high
school teaching materials and books on this site should open the information to
more people, and if you can receive the copy by Internet you may save the need
for posting a hard copy. EJAIB
is sent to countries across the world, which does include individuals in
developing countries who are generally sent copies free (and often are also
sent books free).

subscription fees are in the journal information, and orders
