Origins
Since 2010 Eubios Ethics Institute has convened over twenty youth training forums to work together with Youth as Agents of Change for Social Transformation. These forums are the Youth Peace Ambassadors (YPA) International and the Youth Looking Beyond Disaster (LBD). Most participants develop action plans that after implementation and sharing of their experiences will qualify the trainee as an "Ambassador". The first Ambassadors were awarded in March 2011, and a list of the names and countries of the Ambassadors under this program are found below. Normally an Ambassador should have attended two training workshops, to have presented their action plan, prior to being nominated as an Ambassador.
A newly started Ambassador program in 2020 is the International Public Health Ambassador program.

Youth Ambassadors are appointed with no time limit, as they are dedicated to the life time challenges of achieving the goals of peace and improving disaster resilience for life. The program is affiliated to United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI).
The AUSN Postgraduate Certificate in Community and Peace (CCP) was licensed in 2014 to provide a formal qualification to YPA and LBD trainees, providing further theretical and practical training. The Board will be supplemented with further graduates of the CCP program and other AUSN degrees in coming years. There are also Masters and PhD degree options in Peace related studies at AUSN.
There is no time limit for a person to serve as an Ambassador. Members should uphold the honor code of AUSN. If there is any requested changes, omissions or edits, please email to office@eubios.info.
In 2011 and 2012 because of cooperation between Eubios Ethics Institute and UNESCO, the certification was issued by Darryl Macer, Director of Eubios Ethics Institute, who was UNESCO Regional Advisor for Social and Human Sciences for Asia and the Pacific (from 2004 to 2013) with signatures of officials from both organizations. Eubios Ethics Institute funded a number of UNESCO activities from 1992 to March 2013. Although we encourage the creativity of people for the activities inspired by these programmes, and open to a borad range of partners with similar goals, the originators of ideas, programs, materials and goals should be acknowledged. You can find the profiles and action plans of the Ambassadors on the pages with the action plans that are referenced for each training workshop.
